NOVEMBER 2025
National Gallery of Australia: Art Cases
Have you ever wanted to see – and touch – works from the National Gallery of Australia?

The National Gallery of Australia’s Art Cases offer the chance to do just that, and they are coming to Burwood Library and Community Hub for November!

The Art Cases program includes five, themed art-filled cases which travel to community centres, schools, libraries, art centres, galleries and aged care homes. Works are examined and handled by people of all ages for a hands-on experience of learning, artmaking and storytelling.
Book in today for your opportunity to interact with these amazing artworks, then join us for an artmaking activity inspired by the art cases!

Announcement: Music CD collection removal
We will be removing our music CD collection on 28 November 2025 as part of our ongoing review of resources and services. This decision reflects changes in community usage patterns, with a shift towards digital and streaming music services. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to adapt our collection to meet evolving community needs.

Did you know Burwood Library offers access to Hoopla Digital that allows members to stream or download music? Hoopla has a wide range of curated collections in numerous genres. Download the Hoopla app or see staff for further information.
